EVC1000 Project 6-month meeting: a time for sharing work and expectations.

On Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th June our project partner Tenneco in Brussels played host to the 6-month meeting of the EVC1000 project consortium. Being the first of a total of six consortium meetings, the EVC1000 6-month meeting marked the beginning of a series of events which will allow the partners to debate important topics and cover important themes such as new technologies and the future of vehicle electrification.

Reviews of the work plan, descriptions of the current status of each work package and a detailed discussion about concepts, components and technical requirements, characterized the rich exchange of opinions and views and served as the basis for the work to be done in the months to follow.

The meeting was successfully chaired by doctor Armengaud from the coordinating partner AVL, who could confirm the strong cooperation between private companies and public research institutions - one of the great strengths of EVC1000 - and the willingness to overcome any risks that may be encountered along the way. Finally, further to this technical discussion, this two-day-long event was topped off with a welcoming networking dinner.

The 6-month meeting represented the perfect occasion to plan future activities and to strengthen the bond among project partners. The next consortium meeting, the 12-month meeting, will be hosted by the University of Surrey in January 2020.
